First a short story
I have always liked shooting and liked guns. However, in the Spring-2008, I purchased a Ruger 10-22, became a member of a local shooting range, and (as they say) the rest is history.
I first joined the Intermedia Outdoors General Shooting Forum in addition to purchasing and subscribing to reading material. In time I added two 1911 forums: 1911Forum.com, and M1911.org. I also joined the Rimfire Central Forum, Brian Enos Forum and Long Island Firearms, a local forum.
As for the 10-22. I modified it, and This is the result
In addition to the 10/22, I currently own two handguns :
1. The High Standard Model 107 22LR, which my father transferred to me. I got a chance to shoot this at the range as well. Although very finicky, it is very accurate and shoots very well and comfortably. It has also been modified
2. The ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC NIGHTHAWK PREDATOR!
The two handguns mentioned above will NEVER BE SOLD! They are both EXCELLENT HANDGUNS, WHICH (ALONG WITH THE RIFLE) WILL KEEP ME SATISFIED FOR A LONG TIME)
The handguns I no longer own are:
1. HI-Point JHP 45 ACP. Although I did like it, I included it in a trade for the LW Operator 1911
2. A Springfield Armory M1911-A1. Also involved in the trade mentioned above.
3. A S&W Model 469 9 mm. This was my first handgun. I put alot of rounds through it, and I liked it. I traded it for the Charles Daly High Power (see below)
4. A Charles Daly HI-Power 9 mm. I really liked it, but I had a hard time adjusting the fixed sights, which were very far off, so I was able to give it back.
5. A Springfield LW Operator 1911, which I sold, since I couldn't financially justify owning three 1911's
6. A Kimber Raptor II, which I also sold (see above)
7. A Glock 34. Also sold!
FUTURE PLANS:
I currently shoot competition locally, In IDPA and USPSA. I plan to continue that
Possibly skeet in the future.
