This is a Hi-Standard Military Model 107 22LR
This handgun was transferred to me by my father. I wanted it because it is a 22 and takes the same ammo as the Ruger 10-22. The ammo is also relatively inexpensive and the Hi-Standards have a reputation of being very accurate. So far it shoots very well. The trigger is very smooth and light. I think I'm going to like shooting this handgun.
I recently purchased an AlumaLite barrel with taps and a rail from Lebanon Screw Products. It works well:
However, I found it difficult to rack the slide back, especially with the hammer uncocked, so I found a local welder, LI Weldco (goes by "metalman" on the Long Island Firearms forum)
He welded a piece on the slide for me:

and it works great.
