I always loved the views through those H-Alpha scopes from Coronado, but the prices were a bit too high for me, especially considering that it would my third scope. Needless to say, when the Coronado PST came out, I got on a purchasing list right away, and it arrived in early June. I am fortunate to be a teacher, where I get summers off. So every day during the 2004 summer (weather permitting) I would have my combo white light and H-Alpha scope setup.

Also, the purchasing of a Meade LPI made capturing solar images really easy.
